And why is he so smug?

Because Salmon Fishing the Yemen just spent its second week in the top 10 in the U.S. box office.  That fact alone is nifty, but it's downright impressive when you consider it's only showing in 524 theaters across the country.  The closest top 10 film in terms of theater-count is showing on over 2,600 (Titanic 3D, I think).

Heading off to see it with a friend tomorrow, honestly there is no way in hell I'd be going if he wasn't in it...so sometimes casting does sell tickets

I am empressed that sfity is doing so well.
I saw it last week along with 12 people.
But that's par for some of Ewan's films.

I did enjoy Ewan's performance.
It was a cute film.

it has done so well! they should have had more faith in it when it first came out! it deserves a much wider release

The trailer for the film was literally just on my tv as I started writing this comment :D I've seen the tv trailer a few times now and the poster is everywhere. it's getting lots of publicity over here in the UK and I get the impression it will have a wide release on the 20th so hopefully it will do really well
