I've had a headache for the past 48 hours.  Just a dull, left-side only set-in pain.  *whimpers*  I've taken advil, tried to hydrate, eaten normally, everything I can think of.  No joy.

Anyone have a magic headache cure?

Sometimes I take a hot shower, as hot as I can stand it, and let the water massage my head and spot where the pain is.

So sorry about your headache.

I rarely ever get one but when I do, it helps to have someone
massage where it hurts.
Doing it myself doesn't help as much.

Excedrine Migraine, Wyn. This is the only shit that will touch my migraines, and with the caffeine boost, I feel focused and fucking FANTASTIC about 20 min after taking it. It's a 24 hr dose, made of aspirin, acetaminophen, and caffeine. Good stuff, good stuff.

Okay, so I went to the store for Excedrine Migraine, and the guy told me there was a nationwide recall on all Excedrine products! Something about they put the wrong pills in wrong containers...

Anyhow, I ended up with more advil and some sudafed. Feeling better. :)

I agree with the shower treatment; or a vibrator, especially on the temples, or neck muscles? I hope your pain goes swiftly!

And as such, you'll probably appreciate this: just got an email informing 230 faculty that we're being kicked out of our offices and moved into "collaborative space" in about 3 weeks. A summer move, oh joy! ;)
