So today I had a counseling appointment. This has made me realize how screwed up my family and life is. WOW, what a fun realization, I really like that one. I'm also feeling kind of like I've got a cold. And I've realized that I feel guilty all the time. Guilt is waying me down. I don't even really have much to feel guilty about.

Well, I'm here and settled in and ORIENTED. I'm really ready for school to start and orientation to....end. It's pretty awkward in most respects. Today I took my UPS mathematics placement exam. I was not supposed to use a calculator on it. I flagrantly broke that rule. Half-way through the trig section I just gave up and started skipping questions: ugh. It was weird, a lot of math actually came back to me, pretty basic algebra stuff, but I...remembered it. Last night in my host family. If I dont throw up after dinner, it will be a success. Emi, my host sister, is incredibly sweet and actually made me a photo album as a present. I love her, shes a sweet heart.

Theres a lot to say, but I dont have the time. Ive kept a journal, which I will post when I get back.

As you can see from my lovely icon, within the month of June I wrote 20,000 words of a screenplay. That would be...116 pages. It sounds more impressive than it is. Hahaha, graduated. I've realized I'm really glad they have a ceremony for graduation, because it does give closure, even if it is pretty dumb. Walking down the weird grating thing with "Pomp and Circumstance" playing...was actually what I needed to do. Everything sort of hit home at that point.
