Who's going to WisCon???

I've been excitedly assuming all you great people will be going to WisCon, but lately I've been seeing posts saying folks aren't going!  Oh noes!  Who's going and when are you getting there?  I'll be driving up some time on Thursday.

I will not be going. ISDC is that weekend. Plus a neighbor's daughters' b'nai mitzvot, plus tickets to see Million Dollar Quartet, plus travel the two preceding weekend and the subsequent week.

Try to have fun without me.

I'm going. And I'm on a couple of panels, which I'm very nervous about.

Breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth. That always helps me on panels. That and bringing some friends to sit in the audience and ask you questions that make you look brilliant when you answer them oh so thoughtfully. ;-)

We're both going, unless Jeff's grandmother has the bad taste to die at such a time that the funeral is that weekend (in which case, we might still go - she won't really be missed).

I'm feeling the family love there. Really.
Not that I'm judging you. I am still procrastinating on calling my mother to see when we can go over there to give her her Mother's Day gift. After I procrastinated calling her yesterday until late afternoon. After somehow never managing to get to see her for her birthday since she didn't want to "inconvenience" me. Ok, so I wasn't inconvenienced. I swear, I'm going to burn in Hell. It's a good thing we Jews don't believe in Hell.

I'd like to contribute some beads to the Friday afternoon miscellany, but need a quantity of small cheap containers.
