So, I was digging around one of my awful websites back in the day, and I realized some old GeoCities sites were archived. I found mine, and decided to check the affiliates I had back then. Remember "Digicountry"? :D
I think it's been a decade since we became affiliates. Amazing how much time flies, eh?
I hope everything is going well, and who even knows if you'll see this!
I do remember Digicountry, though I confess to have forgotten anything of it aside from the name and its existence. (This includes, unfortunately, who you are as well...)
The scary (in a cool way, sort of, partly) thing is how the trail still exists. Looking up the site... I barely remember much of it. "Mimi's Revenge" is familiar, and I'm sort of curious what the Anti-Jun thing was about, particularly as I can't even recall who that was. XD
Anyway, I'm pretty sure you're not the Ryushi, but Digicountry didn't list any associates, at least not the one I found, so I'm at a bit of a loss. ^^;
Yeah, I noticed my site was removed from the affiliates, but it's all good. Haha.
I don't remember ANYTHING about my site other than the fact I randomly edited the front page every couple of years to amuse myself. I remember talking to a "Ryushi" back in the day, but I don't remember anything about her in the least. To be honest, I only remember the site; not the people who ran it.
The Internet is a fantastic place for nostalgia. Looove it!
Hah, I just found your site (thank goodness for WayBack), and apparently we -did- for some reason remove your affiliate! If I could access the site, I'd put it back as a token, but (and here's bizarre coincidence) the e-mail used in association just got banned for being a spam-bot, so I can't look up IDs and such. Your e-mail was also vaguely familiar.. but eh, there goes something like 12 years of history for me!
You sure 'nostalgia' is the word? 'Horror' seems a bit more appropriate. I mean, man, if any future employers or clients ran across this thing.. I might be barred from ever doing web-work. XD
Admittedly, I can't recall anything about Ryushi at all, either. Not even how I got into the site. This is a little trippy.
