Well today would have been my dad's 54th birthday. Keep trying to tell myself that I should be celebrating his life, but it's still hard. Think I'll go out to a restaurant for dinner; better than staying shut up all alone here. Have to do something to mark the occasion ( Read more... )

Ohhhhh em gee, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside! i hope you went out to dinner though. I had oatmeal for lunch today so at least someone deserves something good. ;P

i didn't know you back then, but i do remember when kim told me that her best friend was dealing with some tragic stuff ... :( and i remember my heart going out to someone i'd never met. anyway, i agree with kim. definitely celebrate his life. i'm sure he's up there looking down on you, living on in your heart. he'd be so proud because you seemed to have turned out faaabulous! and i don't even know you THAT well, you just give off a super dooper impression. <3 big hugs headed your way!
