as much as I agree with the statement distance makes the heart grow fonder does distance have to be literal? can it be distance in time? I might live 4 blocks from you but I don't see you often, and when I do I realize how much I missed you.

I definitely think time can be distance as well....what I don't get is if it's not distance in the literal sense, meaning if someone lives close to you and it takes hanging out to realize how much you missed that person...why do they continue to stay apart for such long periods of time?
