I have come to discover the joy in writing letters to people you know you will never give them. You write down everything you wish you could say to them, that way you don't hold anything back, and who knows? Maybe one day you'll give it to them? Maybe not? I also enjoy writing free writes for humanities that will make no sense to Mrs. Brockmeyer, ( Read more... )

I have a whole journal just for letters I'm never going to send to anyone. They make me feel better, if nothing else.

Mine are in my regular journal, even though they take up huge amounts of space. The one I'm writing now is thirteen pages ad I'm still going. It's amazing how much you can say to a person and how honest you can be when you think they will never see it. It's making me feel better. Maybe one day I'll give it to the person...maybe not haha

I think I started my unsent-letter journal when I was dating Eric, and that's completely true - it's easier to be honest about things if you know they'll never read it.

If it makes you feel better, it's doing its job!

Do you want to come tonight with Rach and I?

You know my infamous letter to a certin lady that we like to call Dona. Someday when we are older and living in a cardboard box in Boston or New York we will beg for enough change to buy stamps and then send these letters to everyone.
