Just because they have the right to do it doesn't mean it's not a stupid idea. Just like GLSEN's executive director said, the Day of Silence was created by the students in response to an apparent problem, but this event is basically just adults and organizations manipulating the students into promoting their political agenda. I hate to be cruel and narrow-minded but I hope this thing's a flop.
