As with
last year, a sunrise photoshoot and Sculpture by the Sea with the guys from Exposure was on the the cards again. I had a few ideas, and something that I really wanted to do, so instead of doing sunrise, I decided to get there really really early, way before dawn and do some night time shooting by myself, before meeting up with the other people. That day, I carried with me a K-7, K10D, Pentax 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Fisheye, Sigma 17-50mm F2.8, Sigma 50mm F1.4, Sigma 70-200mm F2.8, a flash, Hitech filters, and all sorts of other crap which made my bag feel really heavy by the time I headed home. It was the first time I had used the Hitech filters in real usage, and while there's still a purple/magenta tint since I stacked the filters, it was better than the ebay filters I had. Here's a few of the shots from before dawn, and up till about sunrise.
