Well, that is definitely a lovely toe-less sock! I've been knitting my socks non stop for four weeks; I have one foot+heel done, and I'm about to turn the second heel today or tomorrow, and then knit up the legs at the same time. In theory. I hope. And I cry every time I look at the corner of the living room, where I have another pair of socks in time out, a sweater on the needles (I've done about five inches...) and another one ready to start. At least I'm getting over this weeks cold!

Ugh. I'm so far behind on all of my projects, I'm afraid to set my foot in the sewing room, which makes me even more behind. I need a knitting/sewing drill sergeant or something...

The slipper, may be it can be spliced and sewn into a lined, zipper-ed pencil pouch or something?
