I didn't have a plot when I started last year. It wrote itself, for the most part...except, erm, I only got to 10k.

You're gonna do one of two things: Spend the next couple of weeks working out an outline before 11/1, or wing it as you write. You could quit, but I don't recommend that.

Those are pretty much your choices, so pick one. After you calm down, of course.

Oh, I shan't quit. Just had a wee little panic attack when I realised that my current novel idea required far too much research to pull off in a month. I've quite calmed down now.

Doubt I'll even make it to the halfway point, but hey, never hurts to try.
