So our economy is failing. YAY! I feel like I'm the only one that sees this bailout the auto industry is in desperate need of as an opportunity. So, theoretically, we have the auto industry by the balls. Why aren't we using this as way to force electric vehicle production on their asses? Yeah, it may be unethical, but I consider it similarly

That would be a great idea. We're really farther ahead but I've got the entire series plus all the movies. Call us about doing that.

I actually have not seen much of the first season! We're maybe a third of the way through the third season right now, and I love how completely ridiculous everything is. When and where do you guys want to get together and watch it? My Friday evening is free... :)

Fuel Cell cars interest me more than electrics, but it's gonna take a while for the tech and cost levels to come down to consumer levels, and also to put mass production and fueling infrastructure into place. Pure electrics just pass off their energy needs to the power grid, and a majority of electricity in the US (I think) is still generated in coal plants. BUT it'd probably still be a big improvement over all the gasoline burning we're doing now... Especially if we do get serious about clean energy sources.

And awesome! TNG is my fav Star Trek. Though, admittedly, the only other Trek of which I've seen a good number of episodes is Voyager. Data's probably my fav too. Geordi and Jean-Luc are awesome too.
