My mom has really stepped up while I'm at work she takes excellent care of my grandfather which makes me not worry myself sick. It's exactly like having a baby. But worse a sweet little baby doesn't have to hold his pride in whilst his daughter and grandchildren wipe his butt,bathe,lotion, powder and dress him. Honestly it's emotionally exhausting

I don't want to sound insensitive or redundant because I know you're a nurse but have you thought about hiring home health to help out. As a nurse, and since it is your family I know you probably want to do everything but you still have to take care of yourself. I wish the very best for you and your family. <3

Thank you so much unfortunately I'm a control freak lol we did hire a wonderful girl but still I almost feel like I owe it to him luckily we do have people who will come spend the night so we can go on short trips.

I get it. It hits a point where you don't want to put a person through that and become a quantity versus quality of life struggle. Chemo isn't easy at any age and while there's a chance it'll help, it's small. Better to make him comfortable and happy while you can.
