David felt the baby move for the first time yesterday.  Fortunately, for him, his first facial reacation was not: "oh my god! what have i gotten myself into??' but more of pleasant astoundment and "Wow!".  I can't explain it, but it was a warm and fuzzy moment. I used to love to cam- every weekend, as many games as possible.  Now, 15 minutes of decent rp and then 3 hours of not having fun.  Last game, I looked up and realized that out of a house of players, there were only a handful who i really wanted to interact with oocly.  of those, only a couple had anything to do with my character.  Those few ( Read more... )

I had the awesomest birthday yesterday!  As classes were cancelled, I was able to go back home after work and was greeted with a kiss, a balloon and flowers.  Totally expected and totally sweet!  Later, there was icecream cake after a luxiousously lazy nap.  The day was capped with a very enjoyable dinner at a new Korean restaurant with good ( Read more... )

Went to the doctors and drank the super concentrated orange stuff for diabetes.  Truthfully, it wasn't as bad as I thought- the worse was having to wait a couple of hours more for my first cup of coffee.  I haven't heard back on the results, but they will only call if there is a problem.  No news is good news.  The baby is flipping all over and it ( Read more... )

I went back to the Doctor's.  The ultrasounds looked great - the baby is moving and you can see the arms and flipper like legs ((david says it looks like Casper the ghost)).  Best of all, there doesn't appear to be any blood clots. So it is the start of the New Year and more folks are heading to the pool with resolutions of getting in shape.  This is good and while I know that most of them will choose the bed over a cold pool in a month, I commend them for getting up at 6:00am and taking action to get into shape.  But do they HAVE to do it in speedos from the 70's?  Really.
