Somehow, this little ficlet, showing us glimpses of Jared and Jeffrey's lives leading up to the prologue of Smoke and Lightning, make me believe that time will just fly by until you're sharing Book 2 with us. =)

Love the last two lines. Especially the last one.

I like this. I really do. I read this for the J2, but the Jared and Jeff backstory always interested me. I'm glad it was covered more in depth. I love Jared's story. I don't even know what it is, there's just something about it. He's hardcore, but he's got a story, and he changes, so he's still hardcore, but he's not a loose cannon, and I love it.

But, ahhhhhhh! It's the last advent entry! Now I'm gonna have to wait for the sequel with bated breath. Anyhow, I'm so excited for it, however long it takes!
