Between Sunday night's episode of Brothers and Sisters and tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, I commend ABC for having the balls for airing a couple of very poignant storylines involving gay characters. I don't think you'd enjoy Greyt's Anatomy very much, if only because I think you'd want to slap the heck out of the show's main character. I have a feeling Brothers and Sisters would be much more to your liking with it's sprawling dysfunctionally functional family. Don't judge it on first impressions though. It's the kind of show that won't blow you away right off the bat but once you get to know the characters you just can't help to fall in love with them ( ... )

I'll check out Brothers and Sisters because it sounds like it's right up my alley. Surprisingly, I've recently gotten into Heroes. You?

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the first season of Heroes, although I wasn't entirely satisfied with the finale. After all of that build up it seemed like there wasn't enough of a pay off by the end of the episode. Not to mention the transition between storylines (where what's his name gets teleported back in time to feudal Japan) as a way of setting us up for even more wacky adventures was total crap. I have all of season 2 sitting unwatched on my dvr. I watched the first episode and the introduction of new characters (the brother and sister crossing the border into the US from Mexico) left a bad taste in my mouth. It totally gave me a Lost flashback. I was totally into the first season of Lost and then just threw my hands up in the air and gave up on it with the introduction of an all new set of characters I didn't give a shit about, especially since there were still so many unasnwered questions about those we already knew for an entire season and a half. I'll give season 2 of Heroes a chance towards the end of the ( ... )
