It seems like I never get to this! (or any other website lately!) I promise to visit my buddies soon! I miss reading and talking to all of you!

My days have been spent at the hospital. My dad is doing well, but frustrated that he's not better. Why is it that when people have major surgery they always feel like they need to be jumping cartwheels

I can imagine that when the "new heart" is the end-all of what you're waiting for, when you finally get it, you feel like you should be all better right away. Of course it isn't like that, but it's just how the human mind works. Like when people get cosmetic surgery and they think they will be beautiful afterwards, but in reality they look like crap for the first two months while they recover from the trauma that is major surgery. Anyhoo, you take care of yourself!
