I'm really sad that Jerry Orbach died today. Rest in Peace, Det. Lennie Brisco, Dr. Houseman, and the original Billy Flynn.

Oh...and I forgot to mention Lumiere. I won't be able to watch Beauty and the Beast again without getting depressed.

But I usually watch about 3 hours of L&O a day. I didn't know he was Billy Flynn until I read the news story.

i guess im a dork too...i watched two episodes last nite and they did a little memorial thing for him and it was sad...how did he die?

He was being treated for prostate cancer, so I assume that's what he died from. They only announced he had it on 12/02 though, so that seems awfully sudden. Maybe they just waited to announce it until he was really bad.

Yeah, I saw a PBS documentary about the history of broadway and he was a big part of it. I guess he originated several roles.

omg-i saw that and i was all like awwww i loved him! i of course immediately thought of dirty dancing!
