Wishlist 2009
I saw this on my flist and thought it might be fun
1. Make a post to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from something simple and fandom-related to something really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
2. Surf around your friends list to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy.
3. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1) For everybody to call their grandparent and talk to them for a few minutes at least.
2) Anything off my Amazon wishlist over here. Or Amazon gift cards which would be super useful when I have to buy textbooks soon.
3) For people to have a fantastic holiday season and for people to have good luck with exams if you're writing them and good luck with finding a job if you're looking for one
4) For people to give a few dollars/pounds/rands to their favourite charity
5) Mail of any kind. Postcards, letters, emails, random objects - basically whatever you feel like sending me. PM me for my address
6) Links to your favourite fics, vids and any fun fandom things in the following fandoms: Big Bang Theory, Chuck, House, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, Die Hard 4, Merlin, Supernatural, Lord of the Rings, Battlestar Galactica, Harry Potter, Smallville, Star Trek and I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff :)
7) Recs for music, books and movies
8) Graphics of any kind (banners, icons, pictures, gifs)
9) A new layout for my LJ
10) Links to good blogs, news sites and things that will keep me more up to date with whats going on in the world
