So, I've got this mystery lump and I'm not quite sure what it is. Seeing as I don't have any insurance at the moment, I don't think it's worth my worry. It's probably nothing anyway.

Can't do that. I'm not taking classes, and you need to be taking at least 6 hours to be able to use theirs services. Funny thing about that too: I don't have any other insurance, so I have to pay for UC's even though I can't use it right now.

that seems...wrong. I say you go there and demand service since you're paying for it. If they won't, pull out a pocket knife and cut the lump yourself, and I bet they'll do something to help once you're bleeding all over the waiting room.

So I'm not legally liable if you were to actually do that, let me say right now that I'm joking about the part where you cut it open yourself there.

Hopitals that are getting state funds... pretty much any one that doesn't have have a saint's name, have to give out a certain amount of "free" care out to people who can't afford to pay for medical care, go to University Hospital and get it checked out. It involves a ton of paperwork but I didn't pay for anything when I hurt my hand really bad a few years ago. That little loophole paid for everything my insurance didn't. It takes a ton of paperwork though.
