Yes, yes! I saw this trailer the other day. For the first few seconds, I thought it was liv- action, then I noticed minor tell-tales that it was CG. It's beautiful though.
I saw that small Beowulf live-action film done in Iceland with Gerald Butler, and it was good, but obviously low budget, small, and didn't incorporate the magic elements that this movie clearly has.
I watched that Gerald Butler movie too! I'm not at all a fan of Gerald Butler but he was all right. But Sarah Polley made me go meh what the hell?...must they include a love interest however lame in every frigging movie? Can't they just be faithful to the original?
I heard there's another love interest in this movie. Not sure I can take it, but I hope it will be better than Sarah Polley's role in that other one.
In my mind, Grendel's mom should be...scary, not pretty, but motherly. But I'm willing to give Angelina's CG counterpart a chance too. I'm open to different interpretation.
