Wedding Fears

It's quite possible that the Pittsburgh Penguins will be squaring off against the Detroit Red Wings this weekend, right smack in the middle of a few wedding receptions I have to go to. These are the STANLEY CUP FINALS, not lame regular season games, this is important, important, stuff. I hope plans are made to drag some TV's into reception halls

Non-sports fan don't get it, you don't DVR sports. Someone will always ruin it for you, especially when a hometown team is playing (in this case the Redwings).

PLUS, its not like a movie or other piece of fiction. If its recorded, the game has actually ended. The outcome is determined. There's no suspense; it doesn't matter whether YOU don't know the outcome yet or not...

Anyway, I'm gonna stop over at our reception site sometime this week and check out their TV situation.

I own a blackberry, you can't watch the game on a blackberry.

Inside the Pagan/Geek bubble so many of us are a part you lose sight about how important sports are to the rest of the world. I'm certainly not the only one who will be interested on saturday/sunday, I'm just the one very interested person all of you know.

As long as there is a TV, were fine. We've stepped out on other receptions to watch a game. No biggie.
