Apparently I misrepresented my most recent SQ fic by saying it was something about Snape, when I should have said, "I wrote this story about despair and hope that completely messes with your mind and inspires you and uses parallels and stuff ( Read more... )

I should so 100% be studying right now because the fact that you mentioned misrepresentation reminded me that I don't remember all the rule for that when it comes up in torts or contracts! But I had to say I hope you start to feel better.

I thought you quit WH Smith... But you're still friends the people is what you're saying, right?

Oh also, I think it's funny that the "standard viewpoint" you're describing is that America is the BAD GUY BULLY -- that that's just kind of the default perspective and by defending the US, or at least the complexity of the issue, you're taking a minority view. :P Here in the US, there's a sizable contingent that takes an opposite oversimplification to explain the war... All oversimplification irritates me and that would be my cue to stop comment-puking on your journal. ;)
