The first asparagus of the season ... yum yum.

Served with puree of roasted Jerusalem artichokes, chard with raisins and pine nuts, and broiled skirt steak with a '86 Napa Cabernet.

Life is tasty.

Oh, that does sound tasty! I've been surviving on frozen veg here--better than nothing (and better than what is available "fresh" in the local store in the winter), but so not as good as truly fresh...
