Francis and I have a sunshade, too. It will be in the trailer with everything else (including the 2 benches and assorted encampment odds and ends) so it is at your disposal!

I hope it's ok that my husband & I visit for a bit Friday & Saturday? We're essentially day-tripping. It will be my 1st taste of a war & one of his rare SCA events :-).

Rycheza from Dragon's Laire will be down to the war this year! You know her...she did the breakfasts at the Culinary Symposium! She is not on LJ...but I know she would love to play with you all!
She will be camping with Dragon's Laire....

Will the Dragon's Laire camp need the barony's hearth/ cooking thingie that the playdate has borrowed the last two years? If the barony doesn't need it, can we borrow it again?

I just recieved confirmation that the DL fire pit will be at the war! Matuez and Rycheza will be bringing it down with them...See you in just a few days!

In a happy turn of events, Fearghus and I will be attending the war. We plan to camp elsewhere but I plan to cook with y'all.

I will be bringing a few cooking dishes, a fan-blade type fire pit and some bags of charcoal.

I do have a large sunshade(21'x28') but we weren't planning to set it up at war. Let me know if you do want to set it up and I'll make sure we have all the bits available (we're in the process of changing our camp around and the poles may have been allocated elsewhere).

We'll be arriving on Thursday evening and need to leave out on Sunday.
