When I go driving, I get my comfort in the world being oblivious to me. Millions of people existing in the metro area, 99% of whom don't know me, don't care what I do unless I change lanes in front of them, or drive through there neighborhood too fast. Anonymity is a breath of fresh air. The little vacations are nice. I don't have answers, only questions. I have gas and keys and a mind to let wander across highways, halogen lights, fast food drive throughs and 110mph escapes of near eurphoric blurring centerlines. No destination. Lights and concrete and trees rushing by, the cold air out the moon roof are kind of soothing in a way.
