First part is set briefly after The Only Church in Town. Someone else PLEASE DO THIS PROMPT.

“Hello, my child.”

Amy turned around with a polite (and fake) smile on her face, thinking a nun was addressing her. She was right.

Only the nun was Murdock. He was in the same outfit he had worn before: a big black mass of cloth possibly used for a circus tent at one point along with a white band around his temples and white cloth around his neck. The inside of the veil was white as well.

She stared at him, not knowing whether to laugh or-too late, she was laughing.

“Murdock,” she managed finally, as he looked down at her with an offended “holier-than-thou” expression, “why are you dressed as a nun? Again?”

“Well, it was just so darn comfortable before, I couldn’t resist slipping back into it,” he admitted, posing and running a hand over the veil on his head like it was hair. “Besides, B.A. couldn’t pull this look off.”

“I’m not sure you pull it off,” she teased, grinning and folding her arms.

“Oh Amy, we both know you’re just dyin’ to pull these big ol’ robes off me,” he grinned, stepping closer.

She snorted and rolled her eyes, still smiling. He could literally not be wearing anything less appealing.

As she was thinking that, Murdock reached out and cupped her chin, stroking her lower lip with his thumb.

“And I might just let you,” he said softly.

Amy’s eyes widened in surprise as his hand slid to her cheek and he leaned in to kiss her deeply for several seconds.

“Isn’t that against your religion?” she joked, breathless.

He grinned at her again.

“Are you worried-“

Another kiss.

“-about my virtue?”

She was nodding her head enthusiastically at that point as he steered her backwards onto the bed. Kissing was great, but when she almost suffocated after the veil had fallen over her face, Amy decided it was time for a break.

She also still couldn’t entirely get past the whole “dressed-as-a-nun” part. It wasn’t that unreasonable of her to think it was pretty ridiculous.

“Hold on,” she sighed, sitting up and getting to her feet.

He looked up at her with big puppy dog eyes from where he sat on the bed as she stood in front of him.

“Give me one reason why I should agree to this,” she said, putting her hands on her hips.

He beckoned with his finger and she bent down, turning her head so he could whisper something into her ear. She straightened up with a red face and took a deep breath.

"Ok."

A week after the team returned from Ecuador…

“Hey, Faceman!”

Face turned as he heard the sound of Murdock’s voice. He watched his best friend jog up to him with a big grin on his face.

“Uh, hey, Murdock,” he replied, frowning slightly. “How’d you get out of the VA?”

“Oh, Amy got me a weekend pass, don’t worry about it,” Murdock said, waving a hand dismissively. “Listen, Face, I got a real important favor to ask.”

“Do you need me to watch Billy again?”

“Well, that’s part of it. Listen…”

Murdock glanced around before he continued.

“Can you get me…a priest’s outfit?”

“A priest’s outfit?” Face repeated, confused.

Murdock nodded. “Please? I really need one for, uh…”

Face glanced over at Amy’s car where Amy was sitting and drumming her fingers impatiently on the steering wheel. He decided he didn’t really want to know.

“Sure thing, buddy.”
