One of the best things about stopping in the US on 2 four hour stop overs is buying a bag load of books very cheeply!  I only wish I had more money with me.

Yesterday my  hubs and I went to see Beowulf it was an okay movie. we saw the 3D version in Imax, I htink if youa re going to go see it you should see it in this way. It was the first time I've ever watched a 3D movie and i was impressed. My brain had to adjust for a few seconds in the beginning. I'd absolutly go to other 3D movies in the future.

Today after work I stopped in at the Dollor Giant. My work is doing a United Way comfort drive so I wanted to pick up a bunch of essentials without breaking my own budget. ( The dollor Giant really has everything!) So I filled up this tiny cart quite full or mittens and toothbrushes and canned food ect and make my way up to the till. An older man ( Read more... )
