I know this entry is older, but it just caught me by surprise.Can't believe they suggested flicking the metal out with a needle.I got a wood splinter in my eye once and a guy at work rolled up a small strip of tissue and flicked it out that way.A needle though?Noway!I think i can appreciate your phobia.Plus,have you ever seen that movie "Fire In The Sky" where the aliens stick a probing needle into a man's eye?Scary stuff.
