Hmmm... It's hard to recommend scotch without knowing what you like. Here are a few of my favourites... All of them are pretty mild (my favourite peat-y and decidedly not mild scotch is Laphroig, bit it's not on the list). When in doubt, older equals better:
- Johnny Walker Blue (a blend, but a good blend at $200 a bottle!)
- Balvenie Doublewood
- Glenmorangie (I think I have tried and enjoyed both the Glenmorangie Wood Finishes as well)
- 21 year old Glenfiddich (haven't had it, but as I said older equals better, so this is likely to be good)
Also, the Bailey's Caramel and Mint Chocolate both sound darn yummy. Have those for dessert. ;)
