i was offended but i dont like to push my beliefs on others. i was more offended that my own friend thought easter was a celebration of Jesus's death when in fact it is a celebration of the rising of Christ. if you want to celeebrate his death you are 3 days to late.

No no no, his death happened three days ago on a Friday, but it's celebrated on a Sunday. You see, because the Jewish Sabbath begins Friday evening and extends into Saturday, they can't fully celebrate the death of Jesus either day; they have to postpone it until Sunday.
