Same advice I gave Alexis: go into your favourite pub that has a fireplace. Purchase a pint AND the glass it comes to you in. Raise the pint in an appropriate toast, such as, "To Al, the sodding wanker!" drink down the pint, hurl glass into fireplace.

I swear it does wonders.
