Hit the brakes!

For the longest time I've been reluctant to post personal information on my blog. After much contemplation I've decided that there's not point in being paranoid about it anymore. As long as I don't post anything related to financial information I should be alright. Besides that, there are probably more than 100,000 blogs on LiveJournal. I ( Read more... )

Regardless of whether they are on the lease or not, if you let someone into your space you need to let them know what to expect and what you expect. Its cool to help someone out if they need a bit of time to get on there feet. Its not cool to have someone mooch off of you and make things harder. If you can't make rent then atleast contribute something. Clean something, cook, whatever. If it bothers you this much then its time to get like mad Real World/Road Rules and have a house meeting, then go in the confessional booth and like talk mad smack. Thats just what I would do.

That's just it. I never let him into my space. The first time he stayed the night here wasn't a problem because to the best of my knowledge it was supposed to be temporary. The second time he stayed the night here I was told about it by Brian just as he was leaving late for work. Days pass by, and for some reason Alex's still here and everyone just assumed that I was okay with it. I'm not okay with it, and the main reason why I haven't said anything yet is because I can't stand being in the same room as him. I'd like to talk to Brian privately, but since Brian's been spending all of his "awake time" hanging out with Alex I haven't had many opportunities. Brian sleeps all day on account of his third shift job, which makes him available only at night. I'll try to catch him tonight before he leaves for work ( ... )

Welcome back to the land of spurious, random posting schedules, HG.

Doesn't this Brian fellow have an email address? If you can't talk to him face to face, send him the contents of this thread and maybe the parasite will no longer be as welcomed. Furthermore, ever considered reorginizing the apartment with all your nice stuff in your room and the pool table beside roomie's door?
