It's been a week since the elevation. I suppose I should probably write something down about it. In theory, I've been putting off writing because I've been processing. However, I haven't really been thinking about it to be honest.

One of my friends, and a ceremony junkie, did a lovely write up that in the Ealdormere Gazette.

It is an overwhemling thing. And so bizzare that you get a party thrown in your honour, but you don't really get to attend (I hear mine was quite fun with music and a bonfire).

You did so well, and it was a lovely ceremony. I hope you have not been tooo overwhelmed.

The overwhelming part has been the kindness and generosity of my friends. Well, that and all the prep work. I haven't felt overwhelmed by the actual award. Maybe I'll feel different after the event this weekend.
