I know, I suppose it pays to be stubborn in these situations, and thanx!
Oh and you know what they said when I called and told them that he tried to make me carry the crib at 6 1/2 months preggers..."Ummm ma'am it isn't thier obligation to carry the crib to your door." She was dumb and lucky I wasn't talking to her in person!lol

Man, if that was me, I would've BITCHED so badly.
I had UPS deliver some things from ebay yesterday to my apartment door, they dropped it in the hallway. I was so mad. I'm sure that's what put the dent into the lamp shade. I'm so sure of it. Either they did it dropping it in the hallway, or on its way from DC.

I figure either way, paying only 30 bucks for everything I got dent and all I'll just turn the lamp shade around and no one will know. The lamp in Walmart is 30 bucks alone.. So yeah.

It IS their job to carry the package to your door or garage, but not inside and upstairs to the back bedroom where you want it to be set up ;). As for the shipping charges, those are paid for by the person who actually shipped the item, not the recipient. The shipping charges must still be paid, but there is no charge for re-delivery of a replacement. You have the right to have an undamaged item delivered to you. Notify Target (or where ever) that it was delivered damaged and you want it replaced. They will send UPS out to pick it up and will (should) reship another one at no charge to you. UPS will be charged for the damaged one. If you are happy just getting the shipping charges back, which it seems Target has made you pre-pay, then .... You Go Girl. Call the manufacturer, not Target, and tell them that the box was missing some screws and they will send them to you at no charge. The number should be on the assembly instruction sheet. No, you don't have to actually use the instruction manual to put the crib together, it's just a ( ... )
