I've just found out about another pilgrimage, and it gets me SO EXCITED hearing about it. It actually takes place next October. Maybe I'll start a tradition of a pilgrimage a year? ;) hehe I WISH ( Read more... )

St. John of the Cross was born in a small village near Avila. DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL John of the Cross:-D He and St. Theresa of Avila were good friends. He was so malnourished when little (due to poverty) that he never grew into a full-sized man, and St. Theresa called him "the half-man":-)
