I agree that there has been an increase in delays within the pass few months, but what is wrong with the fare hike? It's only the second fare hike in nine years for a transit system that has no dedicated funding. Also check this site out.
generally speaking I'm not against a fare increase just because it's an increase. I understand that expenses change and therefore we have to pay for what's really a mix of convenience and necessity

I agree that the fares should have gone accross the time board. It comes across as a "taxing the rich" protocol when the fare increase hits the long distance commuters the most(ie Vienna station) But a $.30 fare increase is not that much. Let's see...I need to work this outr since I have head trauma, hehe... .30 x 2 = .60 x 5 = 3.00 a week for commuters. Let me check on a calc... ok yeah. So, I know that there are people out there who would find 3.00 a week a problem, but most commuters could work it out. The parking is another issue

The max regular fare was increased by 60 cents, one way. Parking went up by 75 cents across the board.
Anddddd, everyone owns that CD dude. At this point everyone should stop being ashamed of it because I swear to god, *everyone* owns it. Shit, I own it. I never listen to it and yet I can't explain why I haven't thrown it away...

Hopefully we, er...you (sniff) will see some better oversight of the system, which has shown signs of improving in the past year.
