You know, if 537 people like you had voted back in 2000, we wouldn't have had the last 8 years of Bush fucking up the world. No war in Iraq, possibly even no 9/11. No disastrous tax cuts for the rich, no making America synonymous with torture, no huge tax subsidies for oil companies. We could have been well on our way to battling global warming and ending America's dependence on foreign energy sources.
Do you really care more about the electoral college than whether or not abortion is outlawed in many states? Is it more important than ending the war? More important than bankrupting the country by making Bush's tax cuts for the rich permanent while privatizing social security and continuing to waste hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq?
If so, then don't vote. Because a McCain Presidency will propel American down the path to destruction.
Seriously. There are more important problems that face the country than the electoral college. Not voting won't achieve anything.
yes, blame the hippies cause thats the easy thing to do.. yes.. blame the electoral college cause thats the easy thing to do.
What shocks me about people like you is that you say "I support the troops and the war" and then dont participate in the one event, the one action, that makes you free. You dont support shit, cause if you did, you would participate in the right to vote after all the blood and lives that was spent to give you that choice.
Vote for Bush, Support the war, blame the hippies.. but for fuck sake... dont take advantage of your one responsibility as an american. Hey, how about you give up that right and move to a country who supports your "fight for your right in the most irresponsible way". That way, my taxes arent wasted on keeping up a running government that you dont participate in.
