I finally uploaded the pictures from Nick's visit. I hope they're interesting enough.
PICTURES VIII: Nick's Visit
This was taken after we'd already gone across town to what is supposedly the best bagel shop in Montreal. We bought six bagels (still warm), some salmon cream cheese (with real salmon), and a bottle of apple juice. We just walked along the street and ate. It was really nice.
A metal map of the world covered in snow.
Papineau- One of the ugliest stations in the system. LOOK AT THAT COLOR SCHEME!
Namur station. We went here just so I could show Nick the spacial sculpture. Sorry about bluriness.
After that we had dinner at the Greek restaurant down the street, rented "Million Dollar Baby," bought a lot of alcohol, and stayed in.
Fast forward to the next morning (because night fell and all remaining images are shit). Look at our LOVELY view out the back window.
We went all the way to Olympic Park.
We were delighted to see that they're still flying the Soviet, and East and West German flags.
Dramatic curve.
Another part of the stadium.
Phallic?
Reflections.
Random bubbly skylight.
Near the stadium.
After that we went to the ISLAND on the yellow line. This is THE SPHERE........Darn early nightfall making my pictures blurry.
I had to go to rehearsal at that point, but we got together again in Chinatown and went to a gigantic buffet that was pretty darn good. After that we went home and I tried to finish all the fucking homework I had.
THE END.
