SPN 6.05 Review
Because I'm too lazy to change the wording of some comments I posted earlier...
This episode made it overly apparent that Sam is just *not* himself anymore. There's no way in hell the old Sam would wait for a monster to attack his brother, then smirk when the deed was done. I'm convinced that something has taken him over, who or what this is - who knows. We will have to wait and see.
The boys sure have improved on their vampire slaying skills, what with the one-slash decapitations and all. Wow, the sharpness of those machetes. I may need to watch this ep again, but my overall opinion of the episode was meh, they could do better. Sera needs to do better, or the rest of Season 6 will be for shit.
On a lighter note, I loved the Twilight sass at the start of the episode. The writers seem to have no problem poking fun at pop culture. I'd be happy to see more of this in the show.
