We will not be making it to Birmingham this weekend to see all the cool people at the birthday party for Mr. Cooly Cool Cool Jones. Instead we will be participating in our street's yard sale. Of course, this is Mobile, and the forecast calls for rain, rain, and more rain. So who knows what will happen. Ya wanna buy some soggy chairs

The secret is to offer baked goods so people feel abligated to buy something from you and so they will stick around and look longer.

Too bad my oven doesn't work. I also read to have a cooler with sodas in it so people don't get too hot. All good ideas. Hmmmm....there may be too much liability in the baked goods arena now that I think it over. I don't trust people, and I even made a "Not responsible for accidents" sign. In an ideal world, yes, my yard sale would smell of muffins ;)
