i knew my cat had a hiding place somewhere towards the back of my apartment. while d was over today, he noticed this:

we used to put our kitten in the cupboard sometimes. just for a minute i mean, because it was really cute to watch her be confused and poke at mugs and cans of soup and then poke at the glass of the door. she tries to use her paws as "hands" more than most cats i've met, hence all the poking. it's kind of adorable.
