I'm friends with a lot of present/former mods, and there's this issue with this ( Read more... )

First off, I've seen you around the forums, but I don't think we've met. The "bhw" in my LJ name stands for my name on MNFF, BlackHairedWeasley, if that means anything ( ... )

Comment Version II:

I think I've left my official opinion on Erika's entry. But. Basically. I think the book was a bad idea. Or rather, the way in which the book was promoted through MNFF as a product of MNFF was a bad idea. And I was annoyed by it.

But, sand annoys me, too. And Ben Barnes. And people who have irritating laughs and seem to find something funny for the entirety of an hour long train ride whilie I'm trying to read. But, that's it .

ETA: "That'is it" here meaning, "but that's all there is to it" rather than "that's the definitive list of my annoyance".

I don't know what fighting is going on, so I'm not going to judge those people for that either, though. Not so much because I think they should be fighting but because - as I said in Erika's LJ - this was inevitable. It was absolutely going come down to this, it was just a matter of time and a need for a catalyst.
