Oooh, interesting. I haven't read any Meg/Weevil before this, but this was very interesting. I loved how you painted a very feasible (but sadly AU) picture of what could have been. Seriously, Meg/Weevil is *tons* better than Meg/Duncan. After all, I presume that Weevil is smart enough to avoid the creation of any comababies, right? ;)

Thank you! sarah_p created the Meg/Weevil on veronicamarsfic 'specially for me because I've developed quite the thing for those two. *laughs* Really, though, I'm with you. She's SO much better off with him than with Duncan, b/c you know, Weevil has much more interesting stories to tell while sitting around the campfire. :-)

Dude, I know. I've found some of the most awesome icons recently. And that one? It combines two of my loves - Johnny Depp and Calvin and Hobbes. :) This is another one of my favorites - I'm afraid that Jensen Ackles is slowly taking over my iconage .... ;)

Thank you so much--I'm glad you liked it! sarah_p created the Meg/Weevil on veronicamarsfic specifically because of my recent hang-up with this pair. :-) Hee! I inspired a tag! You wouldn't think this would work, would you, but then they're just so darn fun! :-) Yay!

Umm... just reread this, and I'm wondering -- wasn't there supposed to be a Meg/Weevil babyfic somewhere along the line? Did you do it and I missed it? If not, can it appear sometime soon? They are just so sweet together!

It's definitely coming... ::cough:: ...someday? :-) That story never got the closure it needs, though. It will absolutely get it. :-) Hmmm... now the wheels are coming, which is never a bad thing. *laughs*

How have I not found this fic before now?? I loved it! Mags crush was cute, especially since she didn't think anything would come of it. And her taking charge and being calm, that's very Meg. I loved some of Weevils thoughts like wanting to cross himself when she saw her thong! that was hilarious! and the line "Florence Nightingale of the pediatric generation" also had me laughing.

The line between Eli and Weevil was a nice touch. You could see in the show that there was a difference but the writers never expounded on it or used it. You used it and it worked great.

I loved it, every little bit of it.

Hee! I'm so glad you liked this! It's so funny - after For Sake of a Friend, I now adore Meg/Weevil as a couple, and you know? Not so many fics about them. LOL Ah, well - I suppose that means I need to write an epilogue about them. :D

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! If I had my Meg/Weevil icon active right now, I would totally use it. But sadly, it is not in use right now. Hmmm... :-p
