I'll be leaving in a few days to head back to my home country. I originally wasn't planning to, but when my mother called to say she was going, I knew I couldn't let her leave without me. I get the feeling that they're not going to let us take a tanuki on the plane with us...unless you think we can pass her off as a rare dog breed or something. Though it is a long flight over there and back also, so I'm not even sure how well she could handle it. But if we can't find a way to bring her, I'm sure Sada won't mind looking after her. Even though I'd like for him to join us as well, I get the feeling that he's not in the mood to be around other people right now, much less take part in a huge celebration.
