A huge thank you to all those who participate in my challenges. Without participants, there would be no challenges!
And also many thanks to all my other fandom friends, chat buddies and those who read and comment on my stories. I would still write without it (maybe?), but having people enjoying my work always puts a smile on my face!
For 2024, I created 7 new stories and 1 artwork project.
NCIS Big Bang Challenge (BB) 1 story:
Betrayal on AO3 (25,027 words)
This story has actually done pretty well. Out of 142 NCIS stories, this is ranked 30th this year. Top 30 is pretty good! Anyway, it is a crossover with Criminal Minds and SEAL Team. This is my first adventure in writing SEAL Team. It is pre-series for that show, but I used canon information to work it out. I'm happy with how it turned out and apparently, other people enjoyed it as well!
My Big Bang story was beta'd by Rose Malmaison, who is my shining star for helping whip my stories into better versions of themselves.
NCIS Happy Holidays Challenge (HHC) 5stories:
I do try to write something for the HHC each year. This year, there were only 12 themes rather than 24. I managed to write for 4 themes, plus 1 stocking stuffer.
Holiday Expressions on AO3 (2,594 words)
This is a Gen story, featuring the friendship between Ellie and Tony as she is working through her divorce from Jake.
The Lady by the Fountain on AO3 (5,184 words)
Tony/Gibbs Slash. This is part of a NCIS/Ghosts series I'm writing. They're all stand-alone stories. Tony can see ghosts in the series. In this story, he's decided to search for his mother.
The Giving Heart on AO3 (1,901 words)
Kate-era Team, Gen. Kate is upset that Tony uses his seniority to get the holidays off. He says he's going to a casino. However, his teammates learn what he's really up to and it changes their thoughts about him.
California For Christmas on AO3 (3,369 words)
Tony/Gibbs Slash. Gibbs takes Tony on a holiday beach vacation.
Who’s Your Guest? on AO3 (1,298 words)
Tony/Gibbs Slash. This is the stocking stuffer, written for cutsycat. Gibbs stops by Tony's apartment and sees the table is set for two. So who is that other place setting for?
NCIS Non-Challenge Story 1 stories:
Mad Catter’s Tea Room on AO3 (4,027 words)
So this one, I actually started writing in October of 2023. It was intended to be a stocking stuffer for Cutsycat as part of the Happy Holidays Challenge. But I failed to finish it last year. I wrote about 2000 words. I went back to it this year and probably scrapped a bit of it, but at least it was finished and posted as a gift for cutsycat.

Autumn Vibes - claimed by FullToBursting/Unilocular (Double Cross)

I created an original banner, then updated it, and also added about 7 page breaks, plus and ending banner she could use.
I did a wintery thing the year before, so I decided to go for an autumn vibe in this one. There have been some polls here and there about what people would like to see, and there was a request for Kort. So I stuck him in there as either a bad guy or someone working with them.

As far as new writing plans for 2025, my WIPs are cleared out. I did sign up for the 2025 NCIS Reverse Bang, but not sure if I'll claim anything. I'm not sure the Big Bang or SeSa will run again. *sad face*. The Happy Holidays Challenge will be running it's 10th-anniversary version in 2025 and welcomes artwork and stories.
As far as artwork, I have not yet created artwork for the 2025 Reverse Bang Challenge. And only a few days before the due date. So, I don't know. I do have one piece from last year that I wasn't happy with. I may try to *fix* that one. We'll see.
Once again, I failed to add any more of my PopSlash stories to AO3. If anyone has any favorites they'd like to see posted at AO3, please let me know. I'm happy to add things, but there's so much and I never know where to start! I'm really determined to start adding more of my PopSlash to AO3. I never wanted to have more PopSlash than NCIS Slash as that is my current fandom, however, with writing 33 NCIS stories this year, I now have more NCIS stories completed than PopSlash.
