Yee-Haw, Little Linkies!

So, she was raped in front of her toddlers and it's all her fault. As usual, no one wants to blame the rapist in this situation.

I'm still finding heart-breaking articles referencing Dr. Tiller's brutal and blasphemous murder and its harsh consequences. I was reminded by the stories in the latter of an article in Ms. I'd read a while back. [WARNING: The Salon article has references some may find triggering. I did not venture into the comments on either the RH Reality Check piece or the Salon article; I have no idea what triggers may lurk. The second article is a tough read for me, at 40 with no kids and no plans to have any. Careful with that one if you're in a family-growth period.]

He's a hunk and she is her boobs, or lack thereof.

Speaking of, talking about wanting kids is apparently not talking about your "personal life". Huh? Because every woman's supposed to be a baby machine? Yeah, yeah, talking about your ex isn't exactly the same as talking about your cute co-stars, but for someone known for jealously guarding her privacy to imply that her reproductive choices are not under that privacy screen is... odd, to say the least.

And Amanda points out that now that the pro-life-at-any-cost crowd has started their campaign to scare the elderly out of making Living Wills, in an apparent attempt to maximize suffering, they're facing down a much more powerful and respected group than when they go after abortion rights: the Old Farts!

On a lighter note, Jon Gosselin is apparently at the same celeb level as Mario Lopez and Kim Kardashian. Yeah, that sounds about right. (The Gosselin break-up is, I'll admit, my current Guilty Pleasure(tm) -- a car wreck I just can't stop staring at.)
