Beauty and the Beast auditions

I realized that I can't handle all of the pressure with being the lead in chicago, playing (even a small role) in grease, and seussical coming up. So I shouldn't audition for "Beauty and the Beast". I know I wouldn't make a big role and that I would be way entirely too busy and that there are other shows that I have more of a chance to get in at ( Read more... )

Hey...dont worry about it...you know you will have another opportunity to be in Beauty and the Beast! I think you are making the right choice! Who are ya' in Grease?

My dad would only let me take a small part in grease, although there is still a lot to do in it. I'm one of the pink ladies (Vy), I have to be Jan one night, and I sing Raining on Prom Night every performance...that's about it. Thanks for your support :)

I made the same decision. Choo Choo Kids and Seussical are my limit. Because I think that the responsibilities will be too demanding for me if I added any other performances. I really want to see you in Chicago. When can I?

That sounds wise, Kelsey. Doesn't Chicago only run til the end of July, though? You've got your music theatre quota for the semester. Did Kandace make the same choice?

Thanks for asking, Lyssa! At call back, Kelly Baskin and I were in a group as silly girls, and she was workin' it! Everybody did very nicely, in fact. Congrats to all on beautiful auditions and call backs.
I wish I could have seen your fabulous audiition, Lyssa! I'm so sorry you didn't get a part!!!! You'll kick posterior in Seussical, though! Same for everyone else who didn't make Beauty and the Beast!

After hitting redial on the phone for forty-three minutes, I found out that Zach is Lefou (!) and Valerie Duke, Kendra Gross, and I are silly girls/dishes. <3Alex
