Hi! I like the use of color in icons 9, 10, and 11. :) Something about the blue in 9 just pops out, so I'm snagging it. (With credit, of course)

I was wondering, could I offer a tidbit of iconning advice? Nothing major, just let me know. :)

Glad you like them. Enjoy using them.

Any help would be appreciated. I just started using PSC 3.

I think that if you worked on your aspect ratio in icons (Like in icons 61 and 13), it would improve them a lot. Right now, the characters Boromir & co. seem sort of stretched out from top to bottom.

Just to clarify, aspect ratio is the ratio of length of one side of the image to the other and helps keep the icons square. A square has an aspect ratio 1:1, and a rectangle is 2:1 or bigger.

(edited to remove confusing diagram that wouldn't format correctly)

If you want to make sure that the subject matter stays square, here are a couple of tips:

1) If you use the selection tool/crop tool to crop your icons: you can hold down the Shift key while you're dragging the cropping rectangle around, the sides stay in a 1:1 ratio

2) If you paste the photo you're making an icon of into a new icon-sized file: you can hold down the Shift key while you resize it to fit and the sides will change size proportionately.

Hopefully this made sense, and maybe helped a little. :)
